North Korea has already threatened the U.S. and South Korea with a "physical response" over joint military exercises that are to begin Sunday, but now the isolated regime has upped its ante by threatening a nuclear response. "The army and people of the DPRK will legitimately counter with their powerful nuclear deterrence the largest-ever nuclear war exercises," the state-run Korean Central News Agency reported Saturday citing a statement issued by the North's National Defense Commission.
