Early yesterday afternoon (7/24), the U.S. Coast Guard and other agencies ended the search for four people missing after a medical transport flight crashed into Lake Michigan, near Ludington, Mich., on Friday. The Coast Guard said the search was suspended at approximately 1:45 p.m., July 24, 2010. A good samaritan rescued the 66-year-old pilot of the Cessna 206 shortly after the crash.
