Fort Lauderdale, FL — September 12, 2012 — Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) today announced it has partnered with Luxury Travel Exchange International, an invitation-only event designed to connect luxury travel advisers with luxury and travel suppliers through networking, to feature the CLIA Specialty Cruise Collection, which was launched in July. The event will take place from Tuesday, November 27 to Thursday, November 29, 2012 at The Palazzo Las Vegas.
CLIA supports and promotes an association of small ship and river cruise lines, through the Specialty Cruise Collection, a new marketing initiative.
Jennifer Fernandez, group show and event director for LTX, said the group and its member lines are excited to offer this new program exclusively at the inaugural LTX.
"The cruise experience has truly evolved and is seeing continuous growth and revenue opportunities within the specialty cruise market, particularly in the luxury segment," she said.
Fernandez recommends that any advisor looking to grow their business and educate themselves on the different specialty cruise options available attend the CLIA Specialty Cruise Collection showcase.
Bob Sharak, CLIA senior vice president, trade relations and membership, says the necessities and expectations of each traveler and vacationer prospect are different.
The new program will highlight the continuous growth of specialty cruise market opportunities focusing on different products and services.
There will be a complementary accredited program presented by CLIA with a focus on specialty cruise sales training. Access to the Specialty Cruise Collection showcase is included in both LTX Advisor Registration Packages. Advisors interested in the Platinum Package are strongly encouraged to register by September 14, 2012. Visit: www.ltxinternational.com to register.
