CBC News reports . . . A spooky cruise ship devoted to the Saw horror film franchise - consisting of seven movies and two video games - arrived in Saint John on Monday.
The Carnival Glory looks like any other cruise ship, but its passengers are not interested in shuffleboard or limbo.
The cruise from New York through the Maritimes - six of the seven movies were shot in Canada - is designed to give Saw fans an opportunity to meet stars from the most successful horror franchise ever, and travel with them in a confined space far from shore.
Passengers report having seen the movies more times than they can count.
"They can have dinner and lunch with the celebrities from Saw. It's an amazing experience and the response has been unbelievable" explained organizer John Raybin.
"They know every little nook and cranny of the whole thing" said Costas Mandylor, who has appeared in every Saw movie since Saw III.
"And they ask intelligent questions - you've got to be on your toes. A cruise is not the place to do that."
