Book explores Titanic cuisine

Book can be found at Amazon.com
Nadine Fownes from Chronicle Herald  has written a fun article about the cuisine and food prepared and   served on the Titanic. I find it entertaining and interesting to find articles such as this that share a bit of something different and unique. I thoroughly enjoyed this article and the recipes to try. The cookbook is a must.

SISTERS AND cookbook authors Elaine Elliot and Virginia Lee travelled back in time for their latest project, Titanic, The Cookbook: Recipes from the Era of the Great Ocean Liners.

“Elaine and I are definitely what you would call Titanic buffs,” Lee said in an interview from her sister’s Kentville home.

“We grew up in Waverley and were always fascinated by the whole Titanic story and how it affected the people of Nova Scotia and particularly Halifax.”

Their latest work is a collaboration with British author Yvonne Hume, based on Hume’s 2010 book RMS Titanic: Dinner is Served.
