Diageo World Class Contest Goes on board this year

Last week the prestigious Diageo World Class mixology contest was held on a cruise ship for the very first time demonstrating the recognition of the cruise lines' presence in the cocktail culture.

On a cruise in the French Riviera, 44 bartenders competed for the title of world's best bartender. One of the contestants was even a shipboard bartender.

Last year Princess Cruises signed a deal with Diageo including the training of Princess bartenders in the latest drink trends.

Norwegian Cruise Line recently signed a similar partnership deal with Diageo.
