“I was deeply impressed by the perfect organization of this event, the event itself was fantastic and also the plans shown were stunning. What an ambitious project!”
TITANIC II UPDATE: Welcome to the next edition of the Blue Star Line newsletter with all the latest updates on the Titanic II journey.
Over the last few weeks we have been working closely with our partners to ensure construction of the ship can begin on time. As reported last week, we are pleased to announce that Deltamarin have been officially engaged to oversee the project development stage of Titanic II.
Deltamarin will be responsible for coordinating the various parties involved in the project including the shipyard, architects, interior designers and operations managers. They will also undertake a full review of the Titanic II project to ensure the vessel will be compliant with all current safety and construction regulations. The team are looking forward to meeting again with other key suppliers in the coming weeks to finalise plans for ship construction.
“I wish to thank you so much for an evening I will never forget last weekend”
April is an important month in the remembrance of the Titanic, as another year passes in her story. The loss of the Titanic changed maritime laws forever and it was 100 years ago in April that the International Ice Patrol was established which has helped keep people safe on journeys in the North Atlantic. The continued improvement in maritime safety will ensure passenger safety is at the heart of every new shipbuilding endeavour, largely due to Titanic.
Blue Star Line have enjoyed continued praise from our Titanic Launch events and we are thrilled that people are still talking about them. Below are some comments from guests who attended events around the world.
“What a spectacular evening on Saturday! I was so impressed with the magnificent presentation. You can be justly proud of the manner in which the large group of people were handled. The food, wine and hospitality in general were excellent.”
If you attended one of the events, be sure to view all the photos which can be found on our website under the gallery tab. Stay tuned as we release the details of the next events in the Titanic journey which will happen over the next few months.
