Document Management System Streamlines Operations on Newest and Largest Ship
Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software solutions, today announced that Norwegian Cruise Line, headquartered in Miami, has selected the Agilysys DataMagine™ document management solution to streamline operations on its newest and largest ship, Norwegian Epic. The solution is being used to speed registration and check-in/check-out processes for the ship's 'Kid's Crew' and 'Teen's Crew' programs and to electronically capture and store guest activity waivers.
"We needed technology that would maximize efficiency and eliminate long lines," said Norwegian Cruise Line Vice President of IT Infrastructure and Operations Jeff McVay. "The Agilysys DataMagine solution enables us to speed the registration process, track activities and store electronic waivers and other documentation for safety and legal purposes. On the first day of a recent cruise, we registered more than 950 participants in our youth activity programs - with no waiting. The solution is also paperless, so it saves money and helps protect the environment."
