Louis Crusies set to operate in Cuba

 

Louis Cruises have declared their intention to operate in the Caribbean this coming winter season with the 1200-passenger ship named the Louis Cristal. The vessel will actually home-port in Cuba, operating weekly round-trip Cruises from La Havana. Itineraries will feature calls to the following ports...

Cayo Guillermo
Bahia de Nipe
Santiago de Cuba
Cayo Los Caguamas
Cienfuegos

Punta Frances The Louis Cristal is scheduled to sail around Cuba from the 4th of December 2011 until March 12, 2012 (16 cruises all in all).
Prices are reported to start from $586 USD per person for a standard inside cabin.

This is an interesting development from Louis Cruises and somewhat of a change in strategy.
