Masked Men Attack Fishermen Off Trinidad

We just learned that on Friday, August 13th several groups of fishermen plying their trade in Trinidad's Gulf of Paria were attacked, robbed and beaten by masked bandits. Three victims died in the attacks. Here is the story of one survivor.
Now Fishermen and Friends of the Sea (FFOS) is calling for cooperation between fishermen, the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands and Marine Resources, and the National Security Ministry to take steps to protect fishermen.
