Celebrity Events Group announced the line-up of soap stars that will sail on the Soap Cruise Fourth Voyage aboard the Celebrity Century, Jan. 27 to 31. ABC stars cruising from “General Hospital” are Brandon Barash, who plays “Johnny,” and Bradford Anderson, who is “Spinelli.” “All My Children” stars include Walt Willey, “Jackson”; Adam Mayfield, “Scott”; and Jacob Young, “JR.” From “One Life to Live,” Mark Lawson, who plays “Brody,” will appear. CBS stars attending from “Young & the Restless” are Michelle Stafford, “Phyllis”; Christian LeBlanc, “Michael”; and Daniel Goddard, “Cane.” From “Bold and the Beautiful,” Brandon Beemer, who plays “Owen,” and Don Diamont, who portrays “Bill,” will be on board. The line-up from NBC’s “Days of our Lives” includes James Scott, “EJ”; Galen Gering, “Rafe”; Eric Martsolf, “Brady”; and Nadia Bjorlin, “Chloe.”
Celebrity Events Group is offering fans a chance to vote for the 16th actor to join the cruise at www.soapcruise.com/soapcruise_newactor.asp . The deadline is Aug. 31. Soap Cruise Fourth Voyage will be sailing from Miami to Key West and Cozumel. The cruise will include autograph sessions, picture-taking, a beach party at Senor Frogs in Cozumel, multiple meet-and-greets, question-and-answer time, soap star talent night, and karaoke. Also aboard will be a director offering a “behind the scenes” workshop and a scene acting session during which fans and actors use real scripts from the shows. Soap Cruise concludes with a farewell cocktail party. The first 175 registrants will get to attend a VIP Breakfast with the stars. Prices begin at $925 per person, double occupancy, not including gratuities. For family members not participating in Soap Cruise events, prices begin at $475.

In many respects the roots of the mass market cruise trade started with a Soap Opera, so this Celebrity Events initiative seems quite fitting, although the world has changed a great deal since the perceived glamour of the "Love Boat".
