The 26th Assembly of the UN's International Maritime Organization (IMO) will meet from November 23 to December 4 in London at IMO HQ.
The Assembly, which is the IMO's governing body, normally meets once every two years. It is responsible for approving the work program, voting the budget and determining the financial arrangements of the Organization. It also elects the 40-Member Council.
