Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) as of 1st January, 2017 appointed Stella David (above) onto its board as an independent member.
The board Chairman Walter Revell stated “I am delighted to welcome Stella to our board of directors,” he added. “Stella’s experience overseeing a remarkable collection of global spirit brands and with successful marketing and brand building gives her a unique perspective that’s an excellent complement to the diverse talents of our other board members.”
Stella David's background features roles such as CEO of William Grant & Sons, where she steered the growth of the business from 2009 to 2016, with a focus on developing brand awareness, including the renowned names of Glenfiddich and Hendrick’s Gin, which generated a worldwide expansion into new markets, in addition to certain acquisitions.

Our understanding is that Stella David was recruited by NCLH to provide them with strategic and marketing value to position the company towards sustained growth. In essence, another key appointment for Frank Del Rio, president and CEO of NCLH.
