Norwegian Cruise Line's next ship will get a New York-style kickoff, literally, in a christening ceremony presided over by The Rockettes.

Norwegian and MSG Entertainment today announced that dancers from the famed New York company will serve as godmothers for the 4,000-passenger Norwegian Breakaway at its coming-out party in the city May 8, 2013.

At 144,000 tons, the Norwegian Breakaway will be the largest cruise ship ever based year-round in New York. It's scheduled to sail to such destinations as Bermuda and the Bahamas.
