Despite not being the biggest cruise ship of the seven seas, Queen Mary 2 still possesses a magnificent presence. 2014 signals the 10th anniversary of the Cunard liner's christening; the ship posed for an anniversary portrait featuring Captain Kevin Oprey standing not on the ship's bridge, but on her bulbous bow.
The image was taken as the ship anchored 1 mile off the coast of Bali. It should be noted that two safety boats to transport Captain Oprey to the bow. The shot was taken from a small boat floating in front of the Queen Mary 2.
She's on her Round-the-World cruise right now, and currently docked in Adelaide, Australia. The next big milestone for the ship will arrive in May, when the Queen Mary 2 sets off from Southampton on her 10th anniversary transatlantic sailing.
