Presentation Clipart

NSB Freighter Cruises has announced the revival of regular cargo-passenger service on the MSC Transatlantic route between Bremerhaven, Felixstowe, Antwerp and Le Havre and the US East Coast, with calls at New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Norfolk and a second call at New York on the return.

Two ships, the 63,638-ton MSC Lausanne (built 2005, above) and MSC Monterey (built 2007), have been assigned to this service, with accommodations for up to six passengers each in a 340 sq ft Owners suite (see partial view below) and two double cabins, one at 340 sq ft and one at 270 sq ft. This compares to typical cruise ship cabin sizes of 150 to 180 sq ft. The full round voyage takes 35 days, or from last call New York to first call New York (European ports only) 21 days, while the voyage from Felixstowe to New York takes 12 days via Antwerp and Le Havre, and New York to Felixstowe takes 11 days via Bremerhaven.
