A luxury cruise ship carrying more than 200 tourists and crew collided with a barge on the Volga River early Wednesday morning. While the Moscow Times describes the incident as a "Titanic-like scare", three crewmembers suffered only minor injures, according to emergency officials. However, the damage to the Sergei Kirov is severe enough that the trip from Moscow to St. Petersburg is over.
