An offshore oil rig in the Timor Sea that has been leaking oil since late August caught fire on Sunday (11/1) just as the leak was being plugged.
The rig is the West Atlas rig operated by PTTEP Australasia.

"PTTEP finally stopped the leak on Sunday, but as it was trying to fill the hole with heavy mud, the West Atlas rig and Montara wellhead platform caught fire, said Australian officials."
